The story of Vencomatic Group stretches back forty years. In 1983, founder Cor developed his groundbreaking design: the very first automatic hatching nest. Since then, they have been building a versatile and sustainable poultry industry. In addition to innovative products for poultry housing, they have expanded into egg handling solutions.
TechNature offers Vision & Robotics applications for optical sorting, crop measurements, and irrigation in the agricultural industry. By equipping machines with smart technologies like AI and deep learning software, production chains become more efficient, and food waste is minimized. This allows for high-capacity sorting into various quality categories or size gradations, thereby increasing yield in the cultivation and processing of vegetables, fruits, eggs, and flowers.
In addition to optical sorting, TechNature also develops crop sensors for horticulture and agriculture. The KalanchoeCam is a camera system that can optically measure the height and ripeness of potted plants. Based on these measurements, a spray boom is controlled directly, without the need for operator intervention. This area still offers ample opportunity for young technicians to work on such applications.
Flikweert Vision specializes in making the agri-food sector more sustainable and automated by providing practical and innovative solutions. With a strong agricultural background and in-depth expertise, the company has developed optical sorting machines tailored to the needs of the agricultural sector. In 2021, Flikweert Vision introduced the QualityGrader, an efficient solution for sorting seed potatoes and onions. Through continuous innovation, this machine has been further optimized with upgrades that increase capacity. Additionally, the Divider enables high-capacity, precise sorting, further enhancing process efficiency.
Behind these innovative products is a dedicated team working together to achieve Flikweert Vision's mission: to become the leading market expert in optical sorting for potatoes and onions. The software team enthusiastically develops camera technology and AI, while the designers transform custom requests from the sales team into practical designs. In the workshop, the machines are built to high-quality standards, ready to be delivered to our clients.
